The software offered in our solution includes full encryption of backups as well as password protection for backups, protecting data in case of data leaks or attacks. Backup files will be unusable for anyone not having the private encryption key or password.
It is the customer’s responsibility to secure their encryption key and password. If this information is lost, we will not be able to help you restore your data.
Your data is hosted in a highly secure data center with the highest levels of security and access certifications and criteria. Only a very small number of our employees have physical access to the infrastructure.
Each client has a private access to their file depository and we do not maintain any versions of passwords (history).
Billing is based on daily usage of storage capacity on a per Gb basis.
We offer the possibility of making a physical copy of your data for a $250 fee. You are responsible for providing the media. Supported media are USB or network attached drives.

All licensing is included in our solution. We are a licensed partner of the backup software manufacturer and are fully authorized to offer monthly billing for the software.
You can use your own backup software with Projet Cirrus with certain caveats and conditions. Our backup solution is completely integrated with our cloud service, allowing you to restore directly into our cloud infrastructure and return to normal business activity quickly by using Projet Cirrus resources for the time needed.
By using your own backup application, Projet Cirrus will only be used as a depository for your data, without the possibility of restoring directly into our cloud infrastructure.
If you do choose to use your own backup application, please ensure that it is fully compatible with SFTP.
